Mew (Japanese: ミュウ Mew) is a Psychic-type Basic Pokémon card. The original Japanese card is part of the Fossil set. The English version of the card is a promotional card.

Release information
The original Japanese version of this card was part of the Fossil set. The English version was released as a promotional card at Pokémon Trading Card Game leagues in both holographic (April 2000) and non-holographic (January 2000) versions. It was never included in the English Fossil set.

Origin
Psywave is a move in the Pokémon games that Mew can learn, though only via TM, and even then only in Generation I. This card's Pokédex entry comes from Pokémon Red and Blue.
