Max Guard (Japanese: ダイウォール Dai Wall) is a non-damaging Normal-type Max Move introduced in Generation VIII.

Effect

Max Guard protects the user from moves for the rest of the turn. Unlike other protection moves, it fully protects the user from Max Moves.

SwSh This move enables the user to protect itself from all attacks. Its chance of failing rises if it is used in succession.


Learnset

Any Dynamax Pokémon can use Max Guard if it knows a status move.
