Jamie Davyous Owens

Jamie Davyous Owens is an American voice actress who was one of the original voice actresses for the English-language dub of the Pokémon anime.

Biography

Owens is a professionally trained actress who has done various roles in television ads, radio, webcasts, and New York theatre. Her skills include accents and dialects (including Cockney, Irish, British RP, Southern Scottish and Merenge) and a familiarity with Japanese culture from spending three years in Japan.

Pokémon

Owens joined the series in the seventh season when she took over the role of Officer Jenny, which was previously done by Lee Quick. She is succeeded by Emily Williams when Owens left the series after Pokémon USA took over the dubbing and distribution of the anime.
