Jack (Japanese: カネコウジ Kanekōji) is the third Grand Master. He plays using the Legendary Articuno Deck (Japanese: でんせつのフリーザーデッキ Legendary Freezer Deck). In Pokémon Card GB2: Here Comes Team GR!, he uses the ウォーターレジェンドデッキ Water Legend Deck.

Jack is the third of the 4 Grand Masters who are available to battle after the player obtains all eight Master Medals.

Legendary Articuno Deck

His strategy consists mostly of annoyance. His Articuno's Pokémon Power, Quickfreeze, has a 50% chance of Paralysis. Even worse is that he uses Scoop Up to use it repeatedly to deter enemy attacks. Like Murray of the Psychic Club, he has Chansey and Scoop Up. He might also use Professor Oak to sacrifice his hand to get better cards. An Electric based deck consisting of Magneton and Raichu to take down his Pokémon is the player's best bet to defeat him.

In Pokémon Card GB2

At the start of the game, Jack was kidnapped by Team Great Rocket and imprisoned in the GR Water Fort. After being freed by the main player, he will offer a Magikarp.

Later on, the player is required to fight him in the Pokémon Dome to obtain one of the Legendary cards - Articuno.
