The Hood Man (Japanese: フードマン) is a major antagonist in the Black & White of Pokémon Adventures.

History
Hood Man first made his appearance as one of the competitors of the Unova Pokémon League, where he was able to sneak in without eight Gym Badges. After battling his way through Victory Road, he eventually makes it to the top 8. In the quarterfinal match, he is paired up against Marlon as his opponent. Although Marlon manages to disable his Beheeyem's moves, Hood Man manages to come out on top and advance to the next round.

After leaving, he notes that participating in the League and observing powerful Trainers will help his research. In the semifinals, Hood Man faces his next opponent, Cheren. Although Cheren initially struggles due to his disappointment in his Cheren's strength, he switches it out for his Unfezant and quickly defeats Hood Man's Beheeyem with a U-turn.

When Cheren battles with Black, Hood Man talks to Zinzolin about whether or not Zinzolin's theory that a cold heart is the best way to bring out the strength within a Pokémon. Although Zinzolin states that his theory is correct, Hood Man notes that in his battles, he was able to see many strong Trainers who use various styles to bring out the strength of their Pokémon. When White figures out that the two are actually members of Team Plasma, she attempts to reveal this to everyone at the League. Although she manages to reveal this to everyone, Hood Man has his Beheeyem use Teleport to transport her to an unknown location.

When Team Plasma makes their attack on the Pokémon League, Hood Man returns to stop the Elite Four from helping in the battle. There, he reveals that he was given Tornadus, Thundurus, and Landorus and intends on having them battle the Elite Four so that he can collect data on how to switch them to their Therian Formes.
