Heatproof (Japanese: たいねつ Heatproof) is an Ability introduced in Generation IV. Prior to Generation VIII, it was the signature Ability of Bronzor and Bronzong.

Effect

In battle

Heatproof halves the damage done by Fire-type attacks and the burn status ailment.

Outside of battle

Heatproof has no effect outside of battle.
