Release information

This card was released as a promotional card. In Japan, it came with the Official Card File, released in June 1997. The English version of the card was one of four possible cards that one could receive by buying a ticket to the cinema showing of Mewtwo Strikes Back. The English version also has a gold foil stamp in the top right corner that reads "Kids WB Presents Pokémon The First Movie".

Trivia
