Synopsis

Major events

  • Ash and Ritchie have to go against each other in the next round.
  • Ash loses which means he ends up in the top 16 of the Pokemon League.
 * Ritchie's Butterfree which he nicknamed "Happy" defeats Ash's Squirtle with Sleep Powder.
 * Ash's Pikachu defeats Ritchie's Butterfree with an electric attack.
 * Ritchie sends out his Charmander which he nicknamed "Zippo" and defeats Ash's Pikachu after several Flamethrowers which didn't quite hit then a Tackle.
 * Ash sends out Charizard and after numerous Flamethrowers, Ritchie recalls his Charmander.
 * Ritchie sends out his Pikachu which he nicknamed "Sparky" and Charizard refused to battle because he thought that Pikachu wasn't worth fighting.
