Trivia

  • Dark Celebi is the first Pokémon with "Dark" in its name to be dual-typed with Darkness and its own type, a mechanic more prominently featured in the EX Team Rocket Returns expansion, which, in Japan, this card was a part of. The reason for its inclusion in EX Hidden Legends is unknown, but it is possible Pokémon USA wanted to display more dual-type variety other than Psychic and Metal.
  • It is the first Basic Pokémon to be a Dark Pokémon.
  • The Japanese name of the card is R団のセレビィ Rocket's Celebi, and it is purely a Darkness-type card, as with all Rocket's Pokémon in the expansion.
