Creatures, Inc. (Japanese: 株式会社クリーチャーズ) is a subsidary of Nintendo. Founded in 1995, Creatures is one of the companies responsible for producing and licensing various aspects of the Pokémon franchise, including the Trading Card Game and other merchandise in Japan. Creatures owns one-third of the copyright to the Pokémon franchise (the other two-thirds owned by Game Freak and Nintendo). Its current president is Hirokazu Tanaka.
