A gold-colored version of this tag was available as part of the Get in Battle Free Trial Special Edition ~Dark Terastal Charizard Challenge~ in Yokohama event, which was present at two locations during August 2023. The other two opponent Pokémon were selected from a pool of 37 from different series. Participants were required to use a team of rental Pokémon and were not permitted to use any Memory tags. At the end of the session, participants could dispense one tag of any Pokémon caught during the Get Time! or Last!! Get Time! phase.

The gold-colored version was available again by playing the same limited game mode on machines at venues hosting the Autumn Mezastar Festa 2023.
