Release information
This card was also released as a promotional card with different artwork by Atsuko Nishida. In Japan, it came with the March 1999 issue of CoroCoro comic. This variant card was never released in English.

Origin
- Blaine uses a Growlithe when battled for the Volcano Badge in Pokémon Red and Blue, and Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen.
- Fire Tackle functions similarly to Take Down, a move in the Pokémon games that Growlithe can learn.
