  The adventure begins with Ash and co. continuing their journey, and apparently, the high temperture is wearing them out. Suddenly, Iris's nose twitches, and as she points to the sky, she foretells that it would rain soon, saying that she can smell the water in the air. Cilan and Ash doesn't believe her, what with the weather being boiling hot. But a few seconds later, the sky grows dark and it does start raining. Soon, the rain increases to a downpour, and Ash and co. spot a fancy-looking building at the distance. They all agree to take a refuge in the building, and they all run to the place and knock on the door. However, nobody replies, and then, mysteriously, the door creaks open on its own! The gang steps in the building- which has no lights on and appears to be deserted-and calls for the owner, but there seems to be no presence of people in the house. Meanwhile, it is revealed that Team Rocket was watching them all the time. They are in the same building with them, apparently, which makes Team Rocket sigh-they were looking for a good Team Rocket hideout, and now, with Ash being here, this might mean that this great place for the Rockets to hide may be busted. There are some Litwick in the same room that James, Jessie, and Meowth is in, and we can see that they all follow James's Yamask's orders. James orders Yamask to tell the Litwick to drive Ash and co. out of the building except for Ash's Pikachu (which they obviously want to capture) the Yamask then translates James's message to the Litwicks, and they oblige.
  Meanwhile, Ash and co. decide that there are no people in the building. We know better.
Suddenly, a window opens by itself. Cilan closes it, but then it opens again. Iris, what with her amazing Sixth Sense ability, says how she feels like there are people in the room watching her. Cilan, being a scientific thinker once again, opposes to Iris's theory. Iris fights back, until....
  Iris sees that Cilan, Ash, and Pikachu's faces are ashen, and she sees that they see something that she doesn't, before commenting about how Cilan and Ash's faces look like they had been 'hit in the face by a hydro pump from a Pidove'. She then turns back to see a bunch of statues and umbrellas and other junk flying towards them. The flying junk then tries to body-slam Ash and co. which they hit the ground to dodge.
  Meanwhile, Team Rocket, who had been watching the whole thing, complains that the Litwicks had not understood their order, trapping them instead of kicking them out of the building. Suspiciously, we see that the Team Rocket's faces are a bit... sunken.
  Ash and co. retreat to the mess hall, but they are unable to escape the power of the Litwicks. The chairs glow blue, which we know as the controlling power of Psychic, and then the now-alive-chairs move around the room. Even worse, Ash and co. were sitting on these chairs! The chairs zoom around the room crazily, and then Ash and co. gets knocked off the chairs on the ground. Then, as if this wasn't enough, a bunch of dresses and clothes get in the mess hall, also now-alive by the power of the Litwicks. Pikachu's patience then snaps, and it unleashes Thunderbolt, which reveals the Litwicks that had been playing pranks on them.
  After trapping one of the Litwicks, Ash scans it with his Pokedex...
But as Litwick's info is being displayed, the Pokedex suddenly turns off, cutting off Litwick's info. Bit strange?
  Ash and co. continue to bomb Litwick with questions, which it pretends(?) not to understand. Then Ash and co. take Litwick and continue to search around the building- and they run straight into James's Yamask. Also, they discover Meowth controlling the Litwicks, thus revealing the fact that Team Rocket was behind all this.
  Meowth and Yamask escapes and retreats back to James and Jessie's room. First they mourn about their hideout getting busted, until they notice that their faces had gone worse. However, they cheer themselves up, putting up a theory that it was just because they were working too hard.
