Ash's Donphan

Originally, in as egg, Ash cared for it until suddenly in EP232 Hatching a Plan! a Phanpy hatched out of the egg. At first, the newly-hatched Pokemon was sad and felt that nobody cared about him and was overlooked but after a little time with the other Pokemon, it became one of the team.

Phanpy is the youngest Pokémon on Ash's team, though its power makes up for his lack of experience. Throughout most of the Johto seasons however, Phanpy was rarely used and was known as the "baby" on the team. It's only major battle was a loss to Pryce's Dewgong in EP239 Cold as Pryce.

Soon after, Ash left Phanpy at Professor Oak's lab before travelling to Hoenn, but it returned to his party after his adventures there. Since then, it has shown signs that it had shown signs of growing up beyond the young Pokémon seen in Johto. In AG154 Startling! Frightening! Elekid!!Phanpy battled a Team Rocket mech, and Phanpy evolved into the Donphan seen today in order to take it down.
