Fan sites

  • IGN showed a trailer for an "upcoming" Wii peripheral, called Wii Expand, along with a trailer of an "upcoming" expansion of Super Smash Bros. Brawl called Super Smash Bros. X Violence. As the name notes, the game "is" much more bloodier, with blood coming after every attack, and Link was even seen cutting the head of Mario.
  • Actually "announced" the day earlier, Legendary Pokémon announced that Nintendo had sued all Pokémon-fansites, due to these sites "leaking out" event Pokémon such as Shaymin before the actually is officially revealed.
  • Dogasu's Backpack was "opened" and reflected Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.
  • PKMN.NET announced the Pocket Pikachu.
  • The Pokémon Times announced that another one of Rotom's "100 Formes" has been leaked out, and that persons who call (206) 202-7679 will be greeted by a message from Team Galactic asking them to reveal their Platinum Friend Codes.
  • At The PokéMasters forums one of the supermoderators pretended to be disgruntled and moved threads from the private forum which attacked certain members. The threads were fake, but sparked outrage from some of the offended members. The prank was cut short and followed by an apology from the staff.[1]

  • Nintendo.se, the official Swedish Nintendo website, announced that Shaymin would become available in the celebration of the release of Pokémon Platinum Version on the first Pokémon-event held in Sweden in two years. They also announced their all-new, and first, WiiWare game Örjans äventyr (Swedish for The adventure of Örjan) using the all-new game engien "Advanced Profit Recycling and Infinite Lag" and could have hundreds of enemies on the screen at the same time (albeit on a still picture) and was based on something that once happened, that everyone on Bergsala suddenly wanted raised salary and haunted the VD Örjan. He noted that his Mii caricature soon would conquer out Super Mario.
