Aftermath (Japanese: ゆうばく Detonate) is an ability introduced in Generation IV. Four Pokémon have this ability.
Effect
In battle
When a Pokémon with this ability faints by damage from a Physical move, the opponent will lose one quarter of its maximum HP.
Outside of battle
Aftermath has no effect outside of battle.
