Aftermath (Japanese: ゆうばく Detonate) is an ability introduced in Generation IV that damages the opponent equal to one quarter of their total HP when the user's Pokémon is fainted by a attack that makes contact. When a Pokémon with this ability faints by damage from a move which makes contact, the opponent will lose one quarter of its maximum HP. Four Pokémon have this ability.
