Katsumi is a Pokémon Trainer who appeared in The Rise of Darkrai.

Judging by the name, Katsumi may be female though it is still unsure because Katsumi appears to be a male. But in the scene shown

where Katsumi and Ash are battling, slight/small breasts can be seen. Though this may be an error.

Katsumi's Torterra (Like the other two Trainer's Pokémon shown in The Rise of Darkrai) is of a fairly high level.

Currently Katsumi is known to only have one Pokémon, Torterra.

Trivia

• During the battle with her Torterra and Ash's Pikachu, Ash's Pikachu uses Iron Tail causing a signifigant ammount of damage and knocking Torterra over. But Torterra is a Grass/Ground Type Pokémon. Neither are weak against Steel type moves like Iron Tail. This may be explained because of Pikachu possibly being of a higher level than Katsumi's Torterra. Though Torterra is above level 57.
• Katsumi's battle with Ash has a bit of irony because a 1'4", 13.2 Lb. mouse knocks over a 7'4", 683.4 Lb. monster with its tail.
• Katsumi appears with two other Trainers who have the other two final forms of the Sinnoh Starter Pokémon.
