Necrozma (Japanese: ネクロズマ Necrozma) is a recurring Pokémon character in the anime that first appeared in SM087.
History
Lunala first appeared in SM088, where it created a dark cloud above Alola, which lowered the energy of all of the adults in the region and chased a wild Lunala and the Solgaleo Nebby through an Ultra Wormhole, trying to absorb them. After Nebby was knocked out during the chase, Necrozma followed Lunala through an opening of the Ultra Wormhole to the Altar of the Sunne.
In SM088, it battled the Lunala and eventually absorbed it, allowing it to become Dawn Wings Necrozma. It was captured in an electric net by the special Matori Matrix unit in Team Rocket. It freed itself, but after Nebby appeared, it fought against it, until it released Lunala from its absorption when it attacked with Sunsteel Strike and knocked into the ocean in front of Melemele Island. It later came out the ocean and absorbed Nebby, allowing it to become Dusk Mane Necrozma. Necrozma then opened an Ultra Wormhole and went through it.
Necrozma will appear again in SM089.
