Taniguchi in 2021

Teruo Taniguchi (Japanese: 谷口輝雄) is a Japanese video game composer and sound designer working under the company SuperSweep. Taniguchi first worked with Game Freak by contributing sound effects and jingles to Pokémon Black 2 and White 2. He's also known for his work on Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, where he composed various Team Star themes.[1] Besides his work on the core series games, he also contributed to Pokémon Quest as a composer. He has also composed for other Game Freak titles such as Giga Wrecker.

Taniguchi also worked as a sound designer on Pokémon Legends: Arceus.
