Also, after the player steals from a Kecleon Shop, they are no longer counted as an Exploration Team until they reach the next floor, and cannot rescue Pokémon or use certain items. Kecleon is nearly impossible to defeat using normal moves and can OHKO Pokémon. Even though there originally is only one Kecleon, after the player steals from it, many more Kecleon begin to appear on the floor, all going after the player. The Kecleon are at double speed.

If the player uses a Trawl Orb on the same floor as a Kecleon Shop, the items in the Kecleon shop will come to the player, and it will be counted as theft.
