In Japan, this card was made available as a PCG-P Promotional card with new artwork by an unknown artist to those who rode Lugia's Spinning Ship at the PokéPark in March 2005.

A stamped variant of the English version of this card was given away to attendees of the 2005 Pokémon Rocks America events.
