(Japanese: ライトメタル Light Metal) is an ability introduced in Generation V. Five Pokémon have this ability, which all of them are part of Template:Type2. This ability is exclusively only obtained via Dream World.

Effect

In battle

The Pokémon's weight is halved of its original when have Light Metal as its ability. This is also affect by decreases Low Kick and Grass Knot damage taken from opponent, which also lowers Heavy Bomber base power, due these moves are calculate by the target's weight.

Outside of battle

Light Metal has no effect outside of battle.
