The C-Gear is a item introduced in Pokémon Black and White. It is used to access the High Link, Global Link and for infared linking purposes.
The C-Gear is obtained in Sanyou City after assisting Makomo.
High Link
To access the High Link features, the orange icons on the C-Gear screen must be activated.
Global Link
The C-Gear's main purpose is to provide access to the Global Link, through which the Dream World is accessed. Touching the blue icons on the C-Gear will activate the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection to connect to the Game Sync. The player will be asked to select a Pokémon from their storage to put to sleep, which will then appear in the Global Link.
