This card was included in the Mysterious Treasures expansion, first released in the Japanese Secret of the Lakes expansion. It was reprinted in the Secret Wonders expansion, previously released in the Dialga LV.X and Palkia LV.X Constructed Standard Decks. It was reprinted again in the POP Series 8.

Trivia

• This card's effect is the same as that of Nightly Garbage Run, but this card is not considered a reprint of that card due to the name.
• Night Maintenance, along with Bebe's Search, are the first Trainer cards to appear in consecutive sets since Life Herb, which appeared in both EX Hidden Legends and EX FireRed & LeafGreen.
