An Engineer (Japanese: でんきやのオヤジ Old Electrician) is a type of Pokémon Trainer that first debuted in the Generation I games. They are generally depicted as men with hardhats, toolbelts, and toolboxes.

They specialize in Template:Type2 Pokémon. Only one in the entire game exists east of Vermilion City on Route 11.

They are known as Mr. Fix in Pokémon Stadium.
