Olivine City
Olivine City (Japanese: アサギシティ Asagi City) is located on the Johto coast, near Ecruteak City and Cianwood City.
Pokémon Trainers often come to Olivine City in order to win the Mineralbadge from Jasmine, the Olivine Gym Leader who specializes in Steel-type Pokémon.
Olivine has a lighthouse, illuminated by an Ampharos, aptly named Amphy. In Generation II, upon reaching Olivine City, Amphy is ill, and you are unable to battle Jasmine until you obtain medicine for the Ampharos. This can be done by receiving medicine from the healer at Cianwood City
Olivine Port has a ferry to Vermilion City, the S.S. Aqua.
