Suction Cups (Japanese: きゅうばん Suction Cups) is an ability that firmly anchors the body. Only 3 Pokémon have this ability. This ability prevents the opponent from forcing a switch with Roar or Whirlwind. Outside of battle, Suction Cups causes bites to occur more often while fishing (see also Sticky Hold). It was introduced in Generation III.
