Told in a flashback by Murdock. Mitchell and Murdock used to work together as a team, selling cakes with the help of {{p|Milcery}}. Using Milcery's cream, they were able to make abundance of cakes, Mitchell preferring matcha flavor, whilst Murdock prefers strawberry flavor. Though there was a slight rivalry between them, they both took it lightheartedly. Unaware in another room, Milcery grabbed a strawberry from the plate and spun, causing it to evolve into an {{p|Alcremie}}. Although Murdock was extremely happy for Alcremie and for the thought of making {{form|Alcremie|Strawberry Ruby Swirl|strawberry ruby swirled}} decorated cakes, Mitchell wasn't. The next day, they started as usual selling their cakes. After they were done Murdock's were sold, unfortunately, Mitchell's weren't as popular as his. Mitchell developed a resentment towards Alcremie, as he was not able to use her ruby swirled cream.
Murdock explained that some time ago, he and Mitchell were rivals working in a pastry shop. Together, they sold cakes made with cream from Murdock's {{p|Milcery}}. One day, Milcery evolved into a {{form|Alcremie|Strawberry Ruby Swirl}} {{TP|Murdock|Alcremie}}, which made its cream work better with Murdock's ruby cakes over Mitchell's matcha cakes. Jealous of Murdock's newfound success, Mitchell grew resentful towards his friend until one day, he lashed out at him. Murdock, furious at Mitchell's behavior, chose to leave the shop.

Hoping to get the two to reconcile, Liko suggested that she and Murdock face Mitchell in a battle together. The plan was a success, as the battle quickly became a sweets battle where Mitchell and Murdock competed in making cakes. With help from Liko, the pair combined their different styles to create a new way of decorating cakes. After Mitchell apologized for his past actions, he and Murdock agreed to become friends again.

In the [[HZ020|next episode]], Mitchell and Murdock watched as Liko and Roy went off with [[Kabu]].

Mitchell

Mitchell (Japanese: ミッチェル Mitchell) is a minor recurring character in Pokémon Horizons: The Series. He is a pâtisserie and an old colleague of Murdock.

Mitchell debuted in The Bittersweet Truth. While shopping in Galar, Liko, Roy, and Murdock paid a visit to Mitchell's Battle Café in Motostoke, hoping to obtain a Slurpuff-shaped cotton candy. Due to their shared animosity, Mitchell and Murdock were hostile towards each other.

Murdock explained that some time ago, he and Mitchell were rivals working in a pastry shop. Together, they sold cakes made with cream from Murdock's Milcery. One day, Milcery evolved into a Strawberry Ruby Swirl Alcremie, which made its cream work better with Murdock's ruby cakes over Mitchell's matcha cakes.

In the next episode, Mitchell and Murdock watched as Liko and Roy went off with Kabu.
