Gengar (Japanese: ゲンガーV GangarV) is a Darkness-type Basic Pokémon V card. It was first released as part of the Fusion Strike expansion.

Release information
This card was included in the Fusion Strike expansion, first released in the Japanese Gengar VMAX High-Class Deck. It was reprinted in the Japanese Start Deck 100; Mirror Holofoil and Non Holofoil versions were available in different decks.
Trivia
- This and Gengar VMAX are the first Gengar cards to acknowledge Gengar's Poison typing.
- While all Gengar cards released between the Diamond & Pearl and Sun & Moon series were Psychic-type, all of them had a Weakness to Darkness, while cards that were Psychic-type due to the Poison typing had a Weakness to Psychic.
Origin
