Liko's Hatenna (Japanese: リコのミブリム Liko's Mibrim) is the first Pokémon Liko caught in the Galar region, and her second overall.

History

Hatenna first appeared in HZ021, when Liko came across her in a forest near Motostoke and soon became caring towards her, trying to make her less scared of humans. After creating a bond with her, Liko let her go back to the wild, but her Sprigatito called out her attention because the Pokémon wanted to stay with her, so Friede gave her a Poké Ball to catch Hatenna, which she did.

Personality and characteristics

Hatenna, as true to her species, can pick up the emotions of both people and Pokémon. At first, Hatenna was scared and shy around others, hiding away whenever she tried to interact with others. Hatenna is also sensitive as she doesn't like conflict and loud noises. However, after bonding with Liko and Sprigatito, Hatenna not only became less afraid, but also didn't want to leave their side. She is very comfortable resting in Liko's hood.

• Hatenna is the first Psychic-type Pokémon to be owned by a female main character since Misty's Starmie, which was revealed in The Water Flowers of Cerulean City, 1,246 episodes earlier.
  • She is also the first pure Psychic-type to be owned by a female main character.
• Hatenna is the first female-only Pokémon owned by a female protagonist since Mallow's Tsareena, who debuted 313 episodes earlier.
• Hatenna is the first Generation VIII Pokémon to be owned by a female main character.
