Liki's Hatenna (Japanese: リコのミブリム Liko's Mibrim) is the first Pokémon Liko caught in the Galar region, and her second overall.

History

As a wild Pokémon

Liko came across Hatenna in the forest and soon became caring towards her, leading to her trying to make her less scared of humans. After creating a bond with her, she let her go back to the wild, but her Sprigatito called out to her and Friede gave her a Poké Ball for her to catch her, which she did.

Personality and characteristics

Hatenna as true to its species can pick up the emotions of both people and Pokémon. At first, Hatenna was scared and shy around others, as she hid away whenever she tried to interact with people and Pokémon. However, after bonding with Liko and Sprigatito, Hatenna not only became less scare and shy around others, but also didn't want to leave their side. Similar to Ash's Rowlet, she is very comfortable towards Liko's jacket on the back.

• Hatenna is the first Psychic-type to be own by a female main character since Misty's Starmie, which was revealed in The Water Flowers of Cerulean City, 1,246 episodes earlier.
  • She is also the first pure Psychic-type to be own by a female main character.
• Hatenna is the first female-only Pokémon owned by a female main character since Mallow's Tsareena, who debuted 313 episodes earlier.
