A Team Magma Grunt (Japanese: マグマだんしたっぱ Magma-Dan Shitappa, or Magma-Dan Underling) is a type of Pokémon trainer that first debuted in the Generation III games. They are the peons of Team Magma. There are male and female versions, but they all dress in the recongizable red devil outfits associated with Team Aqua.
They generally use a combination of Ground-type, Poison-type, and Dark-type Pokémon.
