Release information
This card was originally released in the Base Set with artwork by Keiji Kinebuchi. This card was reprinted in Base Set 2, the Video Introduction Set, as well as five Japanese theme decks during the Gym Series and the Neo Introduction Set. It was later reprinted in the Pokémon VS expansion and Expedition Base Set with different artwork by the same artist. This print updated the card effect to include the new Special Condition Burned. It was reprinted in the HeartGold & SoulSilver expansion with new artwork by Takashi Yamaguchi.
Full Heal was later reclassified in Japan as an Item card during the HeartGold & SoulSilver Series, though the English prints did not adopt this naming convention until the release of Black & White. HeartGold & SoulSilver featured new artwork by Takashi Yamaguchi. This card was released again in the Black & White expansion with new artwork by 5ban Graphics, originating in the Japanese White Collection.
