A gold-colored version of this tag was available as part of the Get in Battle Free Trial Special Edition ~Dark Terastal Charizard Challenge~ in Yokohama event, which was present at two locations during August 2023. The other two opponent Pokémon were selected from a pool of 37 from different series. Participants were required to use a team of rental Pokémon and were not permitted to use any Memory tags. The gold-colored version was available again by playing the same limited game mode on machines at venues hosting the Autumn Mezastar Festa 2023.
