Release information

This card was included in the Mega Evolution expansion, first released in the Japanese Mega Symphonia expansion. A Non Holofoil variant of the Mega Evolution print could be found in the Mega Evolution Build & Battle Box.

Two Cosmos Holofoil variants of the Mega Evolution print with different stamps in the bottom right corner of the artwork were given away with eligible Pokémon Trading Card Game purchases at participating retailers in various countries starting September 26, 2025. Variants featuring the Mega Evolution expansion logo were available at Best Buy stores in the United States and JB Hi-Fi stores in Australia and New Zealand with purchases worth at least $15.[1] The initial article stated this variant would also be available at Toys "R" Us stores in Canada, but reference to it was removed before the expansion's official launch, possibly due to the number of stores that closed in 2025 as part of Toys "R" Us Canada's restructuring effort.

Variants featuring an Asia Promo logo were available at participating stores in Malaysia, the Philippines, and Singapore with Mega Evolution expansion purchases worth at least RM410, ₱5,500, and S$125, respectively.[2][3][4]
