Walkthrough talk:Pokémon Platinum/Part 7

i've been working through this guide, and the articles are slowly getting worse, and worse.. i'm honestly dreading looking at the next one; i bet it's virtually non-existant... examples? sure. in the last article there was nothing on the shortcut to bypass Eterna Forest, there was nothing about the items found on that shortcut (i'd fill it in myself but i cant remember them), or the honey tree, or the planted berries, and the old chateau had only this: "To the north is Old Chateau where Cut is need to clear the trees"... nothing about what's in it, or about the Rotom hiding in the telly and how to get it out, or the items inside, or nothing! just one line saying you need to use cut to clear some trees.. and now i find the next article is just as bad! how come there's nothing at all about the HUGE area underneath the cycle path? there's a few more items dotted around there, isnt there? and some trainers keen for a battle? nothing whatsoever. the article doesnt even give a list of the items available, nevermind their whereabouts. heck, there's even a dark cave with two(i think) entrances without even so much as a mention! sure, it might not be vital to the game's completion, but it should still be in the article! also.. this is just a minor point, but do we need the lists of pokemon in those areas for the Diamond and Pearl versions of the game? or were they just used for ease, having already had the table made for other articles? or, what? 'cause it seems a bit counter-productive/silly having the lists of diamond/pearl pokemon on the PLATINUM walkthrough...--DJ Devil 14:55, 16 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

I have an idea. Why don't you fix up the walkthrough? You seem to have a lot of information on the game. With that knowledge the walkthrough has great potential. And yes, there is a cave called Wayward Cave, where the psuedo-legendary Gible can be found. Turtwig's A-B-Cs (talk | contribs) 15:02, 16 July 2010 (UTC)Reply
i'm using the walkthrough because i got lost on my first attempt at the game. sad to say it in a pokemon game, but i really did. if i actually had the knowledge to vastly improve upon the articles, knew what i was inputting was 100% accurate, could ensure they're complete guides to each site (rather than my extremely limited knowledge) and could construct the article to conform to bulbapedia's standards (i.e. without just making more work for someone else in re-editing/re-phrasing/re-wording/etc everything), i would have no hesitation on doing so :] as it is, i'm only on my second go at the game (having restarted about halfway through the first attempt), so i couldnt really offer a walk-through having never even been through it myself... why isnt your knowledge of the cave in the article? --DJ Devil 16:46, 16 July 2010 (UTC)Reply
