Time to Catch Grovyle
Due to the encounter at Crystal Lake, you gather your guild members and tell them how Dusknoir seemed to know Grovyle. Diglett wonders what happened to Dusknoir but further discussion is stopped when the emergency siren suddenly goes off. Deputy Magnemite has an alert from Officer Magnezone that all Pokémon in the area should meet in town for an important announcement.
Your guild heads to town and learns that Dusknoir does know Grovyle, who is actually from the future and must be stopped or calamity will befall the world; Grovyle fled from the future to the past and plans to steal all the Time Gears to cause the worlds paralysis. Corphish asks how Dusknoir is so knowledgeable about the future and Dusknoir reveals he is from the future as well, only returning to the past to capture Grovyle. Dusknoir apologizes for not revealing it sooner, but was worried how others would react.
Everyone supports Dusknoir and agrees that catching Grovyle is top priority. Azelf, Uxie, and Mesprit work with Dusknoir to plan a trap for Grovyle. Everyone will spread a rumor that the trio returned to Crystal Lake to forever seal away the Time Gear to lure Grovyle in but Dusknoir tells everyone that he will work alone to catch the criminal there.
A special episode focusing on Sunflora is unlocked and you return to doing normal board missions for 2 days. As you cannot return to Time Gear dungeons for now, the difficulty ranking of the missions doesn't change.
The Portal
After a few missions, the siren goes off again in the morning and Magnemite reports that Grovyle has been captured by Dusknoir and that they'll be returning to the future. Dusknoir wishes to say goodbye so everyone heads to town to see him off.
Dusknoir arrives with two Sableye leading a tied up and muzzled Grovyle. He thanks everyone for their cooperation in capturing the vicious and wicked Pokémon, then bids everyone farewell so he can bring justice to Grovyle in the future. Grovyle is pushed into the portal by the Sableye but before Dusknoir leaves he asks to speak with your team. Your partner gives a teary-eyed goodbye but then the cheerful music stops as Dusknoir grabs you both and pulls you into the portal with him, leaving your friends in town confused as to what just happened.
With this, the short chapter ends.
