The Userspace Policy says that you should keep userspace edits (edits to User:Zelda311) to a minimum, and outlines a few other guidelines for your userspace.
For a complete list of policies and editing advice, please see the Welcome Portal.
I noticed you have been editing the User: namespace a lot recently. You may not be aware of this, but Bulbapedia has a Userspace policy that asks users to try and minimize the number of userspace edits they make in a short period of time. Heavy editing of these personal pages can put undue stress on the server, so please leave your page alone for now and go help out in the mainspace. Bulbapedia is an encyclopedia, after all, so please help us to complete it! If you edit the mainspace more often, you will be allowed to edit your userpage more often too. Thanks! ---- MAGNEDETH05:30, 24 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
Alright. Don't worry- I know all the wikimarkup and stuff. - unsigned comment from Zelda311 (talk • contribs)
also, you cant use official templates on your page. it categorizes your page, which is for mainspace only. also, please sign your comments with 4 tildes (~) -- MAGNEDETH18:40, 24 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
Signature policy
This bars the use of signature templates and images in signatures. Updating these templates places heavy weight on our server, as do images. I have deleted the offending template; please do not create it. You can sign on talk pages by typing four tildes (~~~~) or by clicking before you save the page. Thanks. —darklordtrom06:45, 25 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
Personal images is limited to two, actually, but we encourage the use of external hosting sites such as photobucket. These can be hotlinked simply by putting the URL onto the page. —darklordtrom04:20, 26 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
Wait, so this is what I'm getting at: I can upload two personal images, and I can put the url of photobucket images and still have that be unlimited? So I can basically do this:
you asked me personally about the userspace rules, but im getting the idea you didnt read them because youre still abusing the userspace, you need to stop or your privileges will be removed. -- MAGNEDETH00:41, 30 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
let me put it this way. we want need our users to edit the mainspace significantly more than their userpage. something like 20 mainspace to 1 userspace is a comparison i like to use. its not about making few edits to the userspace, its about being a useful contributor to the website. -- MAGNEDETH18:45, 30 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
