By creating your account you are now able to edit pages, join discussions, and expand the community-driven Pokémon encyclopedia. Before you jump in, here are some ground rules: Be nice to everyone. Use proper grammar and spelling, and read the manual of style. You can't create a userpage until you've added to the encyclopedia. It's a privilege. See the userspace policy. Use talk pages to resolve editing disputes. Don't "edit war," or constantly re-edit/undo the same thing on a page. If you have a question about something, be proactive. Take a look at our FAQ. If you're still stuck, ask for help. The staff won't bite. Sign all talk page posts with four tildes (~~~~). This will turn into your name and the time you wrote the comment. The Preview Button

Instead of editing a page several times in a row, try using the preview button to make sure your edit looks the way you want it to. It's right next to the Save Page button. Please try it out, so as not to clog up the Recent Changes. Also, if you want to edit multiple sections of the page, make sure that you click "edit this page" at the top of the page rather than editing it by section. Thanks! ----Felthry (F.K.A. That's fine! That's what the preview button is for. By pressing it, you can get a look at what your edit does without actually publishing the edit.

For future reference, you can make intrawiki links using [[Article Name|text to display]]. The article name has to be formatted exactly as it is on the article itself; that is, for example, User:Xolroc and User:XOLROC would link to two different pages, one of which is my userpage and one of which is not.

Additionally, try to use :s to indent your text on talk pages, to make it clear where one person's text ends and another person's begins. Just start the line with one more : than the last one.

And one more thing, you can sign your posts by entering ~~~~ when editing. We at Bulbapedia require all comments on talk pages be signed, but the {{unsigned}} template exists for when people forget.

I know this might seem like a lot of information. I'm just trying to give you the rundown on how things work around here, so you can jump right in and start editing. Don't hesitate to ask any questions if you have them!
