Just testing something here

Down a weird 4 AM rabbit hole, where I'm trying to add on to the talk section of the Alex Davis page. A "captcha" field appears at the bottom, but gives no captcha to solve. There are a few links in my draft as it's discussing the veracity of the Alex Davis competition winner claims. It's to go hand in hand with the citation I added to the page, which isn't conclusive but this would at least go hand in hand in discussing the citation addition. I made an account on the forums to mention this captcha problem, but can't reply to a topic about this issue due to not being verified yet.

Coming from the Sonic Retro wiki, which also uses MediaWiki, I know sometimes new accounts that come to us hit a weird anti-spam issue where a solution doesn't surface to the account. One of our band-aids is to have the user make an edit to their user page without a link, and then that usually clears them for our anti-spam plugin for...some reason. So, this is a harmless thing for me to try and see if I can go do that next. If not, well. This can be deleted lol. MykonosFan (talk) 08:41, 10 July 2025 (UTC)
