Data mining
Hi. FYI, information data-mined from the Demo is currently not allowed on Bulbapedia. I understand how it can be easy to miss, but our site notice at the top of the page even says this. There are many other places you're welcome to discuss that topic, including our forums if you wish, but for the time being, please do not edit any of that information into Bulbapedia. Only what you can know by directly playing the game. I hope you can understand. Thanks. Tiddlywinks (talk) 19:09, 19 October 2016 (UTC)
- While I don't understand the reason for this rule, yes, I missed it. Thanks for pointing it out, I will keep that in mind in the future. Mid-kid (talk) 20:18, 19 October 2016 (UTC)
- The reason is that sometime in the past Nintendo (or someone like that) was very displeased when great amounts of unsactioned information about new Pokemon games was leaked. (I wasn't really around when that happened to remember it well, so I'm not sure when exactly, but that's why.) Tiddlywinks (talk) 20:25, 19 October 2016 (UTC)
- Oh, okay. Thanks for clarifying. Mid-kid (talk) 20:36, 19 October 2016 (UTC)
