Preview button

Just a suggestion, but use the preview button when editing a page, instead of making edit after edit. J-J-M 09:36, 18 May 2009 (UTC)

I noticed you have been editing the User: namespace a lot recently. You may not be aware of this, but Bulbapedia has a Userspace policy that asks users to try and minimize the number of userspace edits they make in a short period of time. Instead of making multiple edits, why not use the Preview button (Alt + Shift + P) located right next to the edit button to look at your page and see how it is coming? That way, your page can look great while staying within the required amount of edits. Instead of editing the userspace, as a wiki, we encourage users to edit the mainspace. So, if you edit the mainspace more often, you will be allowed to edit the userspace more. Thanks! --- Kogoro | Talk to me - 09:42, 18 May 2009 (UTC)

Preview button

I strongly appreciate that you're contributing to improve Bulbapedia, but can you PLEASE use the 'Show preview' button? It is located right next to the 'Save page' button for convenience when editing a page. Thank you. --Theryguy512 11:19, 18 May 2009 (UTC)

Hold on!

If you did not read your last warning, then please read it now. You have edited the User: namespace too much for now. Please do not edit your page any more for now. Thank you. ----Theryguy512 11:19, 18 May 2009 (UTC)

I read it, but I just thought enough time had passed. How long must I wait before editing it again? Also, I'd like to explain why I edited so much. It's because I noticed some typos after I had edited the first time, so I had to re-edit it. I'll try to proof-read in the future before saving the page. Sorry. ----Captain Awesome 11:44, 18 May 2009 (UTC)
While you physically have the ability to keep on editing right this minute, it would be preferred that you edited the mainspace a bit more first. Don't end up like these guys. — THE TROM — 02:34, 19 May 2009 (UTC)
What do you mean by "mainspace"? ----Captain Awesome 02:50, 19 May 2009 (UTC)
Articles. Ash Ketchum, DP092, Misty's Azurill, Mimi (Special)... anything without a prefix (i.e. "User talk:" is the one for here) is in the mainspace. On account of the whole "being an encylopedia" thing, this is where we want all the edits to be. — THE TROM — 02:58, 19 May 2009 (UTC)
Ok then, I'll try. ----Captain Awesome 03:00, 19 May 2009 (UTC)

Link templates!

Aha! You've forgotten them! Don't ever do so. Or we bite heads off. TTEchidna 03:47, 3 June 2009 (UTC)

What? O_O I'm seriously confused. ----Captain Awesome 04:01, 3 June 2009 (UTC)
These things. Also, pay closer attention to sprites: shiny Burmy and Wormadam are slightly bluer than non-shiny ones. TTEchidna 04:44, 3 June 2009 (UTC)

Be careful

Be careful when you copy templates verbatim onto your page; if you take the whole text you can end up categorising your page as something it isn't. As a general rule, if there's something inside <noinclude></noinclude> tags, don't copy that. —darklordtrom 20:26, 5 August 2009 (UTC)

Do not edit the User: namespace any more. In the past, we were not allowed to edit our pages at all because of users over-editing their pages. If you edit your page any more without making some edits to the mainspace, then the privilege for you to edit the userspace will be removed. ---- MAGNEDETH 05:03, 11 October 2009 (UTC)
