Putting certain cards in

I think Charizard ex (151 6) fits with the Charmander and Charmeleon, because enough of the landscape around it is visible to identify it as the Charmelon's location. (This doesn't work well with Venasaur and Blastoise because the Pokemon is so large it is hard to see what's behind them, but one could include them for completeness.)

I also think Poliwhirl (151 61)'s illustration rare is a better match for the narrative than the normal printing. The illustration rare is outdoors, matching the other two cards, while the reflected cityscape on the rare better lines up with Poliwrath's urban environment. From what I can tell based on the phrasing of the official site and the other cards in the set, I believe the idea is that each narrative is illustrated by a single illustrator. Since the English site is the only reason most of these cards would be considered narrative illustrations to begin with, I'd rather stick with that for consistency. --Apopheniac (talk) 14:45, 1 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
