I am a Pokemon veteran of twelve years now. When I was five years old, I got my first Pokemon game - Blue. As the years have went on, however, I've really gotten into the fandom and enjoy Pokemon like a Snorlax loves eating. So here's a page about me and how Pokemon's affected my life. I'll just add stuff onto this page whenever I'm bored ne~

Early Years / Generation I

Yes, I've been there for it all -- since Pokemon came to America in 1998. I was just a five year old little girl then, and one night, I was in Walmart with my dad. By chance, I looked up at the assortment of Game Boy games, and a particular cover caught my eye. Pokemon Blue Version, it was called, and it took over my little mind.

I was never a traditional little girl, and when I wasn't putting Barbie dolls in my model guillotine, I was outside playing with my imaginary twin brother. I'm an only child, and I lived in the county where there were no other children. But now I would play Pokemon constantly. My first starter was Squirtle. Only one problem: I couldn't read. So, before starting kindergarden that year, my dad taught me the alphabet, and I learned how to read. No more bugging dad to read me Since then, I've had great reading skills and I've become something of a writer.

Along with watching the anime (I remember the first episode I saw was actually the first episode), I began to battle kids at my school. They seemed so offended to lose to a girl.

My parents divorced around that Christmas, though, leaving me as a permanently scarred child in a "broken home". However, Pokemon helped me through that tough time, and I found my sights set elsewhere from the boring reality.

Generation II

By the time Ash had entered Johto, and I was playing my new Silver version, I had foud myself in an imaginary relationship with Gary Oak. Yes, this is laughable to most, but to me, I was dead serious. Okay, can't lie, I still do have a crush on Gary/Green. Maybe it's because I like jerks, or his spikey hair. . .

I found the new games to be even more fun, with both regions to choose from. Totodile was my choice starter, again the water type. My favorite feature of the game was the cellphone, and I would call up Picnicker Liz all the time.

I had heard about Pikablu/Marill for a while, and was sad to learn that it wasn't a blue Pikachu.
