Learnset examples
This template is intended to be used to list all moves a Pokémon can only have if it is transferred from an earlier generation to Generation IV. Moves that can only be learned from an event will be listed with an asterisk. A move that was an HM in Generation III can never be transferred to Generation IV, due to the restrictions in the mechanincs of Pal Park .
Bulbasaur
The following example lists all moves a Bulbasaur can only have in Generation IV if it is transferred from Generation III .

Moves marked with an asterisk (*) can only be learned from events in all generations they are available
A black roman number in a colored box indicates that Bulbasaur can learn the move in that generation
A colored roman number in a white box indicates that Bulbasaur cannot learn the move in that generation
Bold indicates a move that gets STAB when used by Bulbasaur
Italic indicates a move that gets STAB only when used by an evolution of Bulbasaur
