This here is just a timeline of the Pokémon World. It was made up completely by me and contains mostly theories of how it came to be. These are completely made up from my point of view plus a few of them are facts from the games, anime, etc. Feel free to comment if you wish.

The Beginning

• Arceus just... appears. You can believe on your part on how it appeared.
• Arceus decides to create the Pokémon World, but creating a world requires time. With that he gives birth to Celebi and Dialga to create time, although at this point time is not visible.
• Arceus gives birth to Palkia to create space to hold everything in.
• Arceus gives birth to Groudon to create the earthly lands, Kyogre to create the world's waters.
• Groudon and Kyogre show apparent feelings of rivalry, but the presence of Arceus gives them the idea not to fight about anything yet.
• Arceus gives birth to Rayquaza to create the sky. Clouds and weather also are created by Rayquaza. Rayquaza finally creates wind and Kyogre creates rain.
• Arceus notices how dark the Pokémon World is and creates the sun, moon (to reflect moon lights in night time) and stars. In the process, Arceus gives birth to Cresselia to be the moon's guardian. Groudon creates a sunny element for the weather.
• Arceus gives birth to Regice, Registeel and Regirock to complete the world's missing elements. The Regi Trio creates the missing ice, mineral (tin, iron etc.) and rock elements.
• Finally Arceus notices how unorganized the earthy lands and water are. So Arceus creates the Regi trio's master Regigigas to bring continents togather and more organized.
• The lands are barren looking. Shaymin is born and assigned to make plants, trees, grass and flowers grow all over the lands.
• Groudon becomes angry seeing all the water and goes underground, where it vents out its anger and creates volcanoes all over the World now. Kyogre is shocked and angry. In the process of creating volcanoes, Heatran was created. Like the Other Pokémon the Heatran chooses to obey Arceus and is assigned to be the guardian of volcanoes.
• The rivalry between Groudon and Kyogre has gone far enough. The two fight each other in a hideous battle. Rayquaza comes to save the day. After that Groudon decides to retreat to Terra Cave, Kyogre retreats to Marine Cave. Rayquaza decides to retreat to the sky for at that time, Sky Pillar wasn't created yet. Some of the other legendaries record this startling event for history's sake.

New Life

• Seeing that the World is almost complete, Arceus feels that life can walk the lands and swim in the waters now. However it is tired and needs a different Pokémon to do the job for it. Arceus gives birth to Mew, but Mew still needs help to create new Pokémon species.
• Arceus creates the lake trio, Azelf, Uxie and Mesprit, to aid Mew. The trio creates knowledge, willpower and emotion which are all needed to create new Pokémon species.
• The lake trio seem to be the most loyal to Arceus and call it their master. The other legendaries don't seem to mind much.
• Arceus feels two more Pokémon are needed and gives birth to Jirachi and Darkrai. Jirachi creates wishes which can sometimes represent dreams and Darkrai creates nightmares.
• Mew feels it can now create Pokémon now and does so.
• Pokémon such as Kabuto, Shieldon and the works are created.
• Arceus decides to create one more thing. Humans are now born into the Pokémon world. These humans basically became cavemen of long ago.
• Arceus leaves the other legendaries to do their work and rests.
• With the creation of humans, some of the legendaries start to feel not very safe as they were before. Even Arceus starts to agree and thinks the legendaries should find places to hide from the humans.
• Darkrai retreats to Newmoon Island, luckily for him he can still control his nightmare powers to anywhere despite being so far away.
• Shaymin retreats to a faraway barren green field. It decides to plant thousands of flowers there and thus the field becomes Flower Paradise.
• Seeing many of the volcanoes in the Pokémon World, Heatran decides to choose the best volcano to become his new home. He chooses Stark Mountain.
• Azelf, Uxie and Mesprit retreats to the three caverns located in the three lakes of the Sinnoh region.
• Arceus wants to be even farther away from humans and mortal Pokémon as possible, along with Palkia and Dialga. On top of Mt. Coronet Arceus creates various pillar structures, including Hall of Origin and Spear Pillar.
• With creating new pillar structures, Arceus makes one flaw which instantly creates Sky Pillar in the Hoenn region. Rayquaza takes a quick liking to the structure and decides to make his second home there.
• Mew's destiny is to still be the 'Mother of all Mortal Pokémon' and thus also their guardian, so Mew chooses to transform into common Pokémon or turn invisible to hide it self. It is allowed to have small breaks though and chooses Faraway Island and Rainbow Cloud to be its resting spots.
