Waka (stylized as waka) is a freelance illustrator, and artist for the Pokémon series. They got their start in the industry as an artist for NijiSanji VTuber Kana Sukoya in 2020, before going on to produce additional art for several other VTubers from a wealth of agencies.[2] For Pokémon, they were the animator on a series of social media shorts focused on Rika, to celebrate her release as a playable character in Pokémon Masters EX.[3]
