KOROSHINX11 article This is my first article, so I'll try to make it a good one I heard the other day that people were thinking that the new legendaries (Reshiram and Zekrom) are rip-offs mof Yu-gi-oh! . That, in my opinion, is ridiculous. In fact, Yu-gi-oh! is the one that looks liker was saying it copied Pokemon. I'm not saying that they did, but there is a lot of proof that they did. For instance, both have a card series, both have monsters that battle against each other, and both have pre-pubescent boys as their main character in the anime. Coincidence? I don't think so!

Yu-gi-oh! isn't the prime suspect. The most likely suspect for a Pokemon rip-off would be Bakugan. But still, their is a clue that Yu-gi-oh! actually copied Pokemon. Yu-gi-oh! started in December 1996, a few months after the first two games, Pokemon Red and Blue, came out. So next time you start to say that Pokemon is a copy, just think about whether or not it did. Or re-read this article.
