(Japanese: つぶゴロウTsubugorou) is a human-turned-Mudkip from the world of Mystery Dungeon serving as a mascot character to promote the release of Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon in Japan. Tweets were shared on the @Pokemon_cojp official Twitter account, the full posts were shared to the official website for the game as well.
Tsubugorou's name is a portmanteau of つぶやき, meaning Tweet, and ミズゴロウ, the Japanese name for Mudkip.
Day -3 of the countdown is the only countdown day that didn't receive unique Tsubugorou art.
In the files of Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon, the developers internally used the word "TWEET" to refer to the messages that appear in the Connection Orb.
The symbol "◎" can be used by the player in Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon and it can appear in rescue passwords.
